Floyd`s Frosty in McCloud

A lil pop shop. FLOYD does it all. Food and ice cream were both good

I was visiting Grandma in McCloud and she decided to take us here. There were a few customers there already, so it took about 10 minutes to deliver, but let me tell you that they had the best french fries I have had in a long time. I ordered a jalapeño burger and it was spicy, just the way I like it. Customer service is great. Let me tell you, I really enjoyed it! So if you are by McCloud ,"you gotta try FLOYDS FROSTY!!!

Love this place. Little hole in the wall old school frosty and burger joint just like the kind you remembered when you were a kid. Great food and very nice owners. Fast service too. A little pricey but totally worth it. A definite must stop for the family on a road trip.

Had a buffalo burger and 🍌 shake. Good service, busy small quiet place. over priced for two burgers one of witch didn't include fries. None include drinks.

Everything was on point, burgers, milkshakes, my fav was the fries. Wish I was closer to this place.

Great place to stop after a day at the McCloud Falls. The burgers were delicious and the staff was small town friendly (big, welcoming smiles and service. Great area for the outdoor enthusiasts.

I found this incredible place a couple minutes off I-5 in McCloud, CA... great food and great folks 🍔👍 I asked for a lettuce wrap bacon cheeseburger, peanut butter shake & onion rings....wow!! 👌

Not gonna lie, at first I was very upset when I got to Floyd's Frosty. $50 for 3 burgers, 3 fries, and 2 colas. The man at the register (Floyd?) was a jerk and waited 15 minutes for our food. Then I took a bite of one of the best burgers I've ever had. So overall 4 stars for the quality of food but service and price leave much to be desired.

I stopped at the Chevron across the street to get gas and stopped in here to get a burger. Better than In n out, Five Guys, Whataburger, and any other burger I've tried. Nice little mom n pop spot that has a cozy American atmosphere inside.

Yummy shakes (raspberry my favorite!) And good burgers. Nice guy/owner, Floyd, served his customers personally.

Wonderful old fashion burger joint. Everything is cooked when you order it. A little pricey, but great food, fresh food. The food tasted great. Went with my kids and grandkids, everyone loved their food.

Very good. Nothing to do so we waited 45 minutes just to eat. No regrets.

America's Best Cheese Burger is in McCloud, California, you have to go there and try it, you just can't make a better AMERICAN TRADITIONAL cheese burger. Anyone can make what they think would be great, at Floyd's Frosty, they make the most wonderful thank God I was born in American Cheese Burger. I highly suggest the Logger Burger and put the bacon on the side to get the full natural burger flavor. They make their patties and they are thick. Shakes are wonderful and the owners deserves everyone's business these places are rare anymore and when you take into consideration the quality, they should have a line out the door constantly. I could actually measure good days of my life by Floyd's Frosty Logger Cheese Burgers, A Siskiyou County Tradition. (Best Burger Hands Down.)

I have tasted better burgers elsewhere easily. The food is not great deal for travellers. Need to try the double otherwise we still felt hungry. Didn't try their ice cream.

Great old fashioned hamburger and shakes. You can sit outside and see Mt. Shasta while you eat supper. Seems to be popular with the locals. It had a steady stream of business. Nice people working there.

Went here for my grandkids. They said the vanilla milkshakes were the best ever. The burgers were good too. I ordered inside and they brought it out to the car so felt safe during Covid.

Charbroiled deliciousness with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. A must if you're in the area. Crisp, not overly greasy fries, soft and fluffy buns, fresh veggies, and elk available for the adventurous eater.

My family and I went in for a bite to eat, after the Victorian Christmas event. I was thinking another run of the mill kinda place. However, the cheeseburger that I ordered was possibly the best cheeseburger that I have ever had. Ordered another one.

It was my first time eating here. We came in on a Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm and there was only one table for 2 available. I had a bacon cheeseburger & strawberry shake, my husband had a hamburger & chocolate shake & we split a large french fries. Our shakes arrived first, they were thick, rich, and full of flavor. My burger was delicious, cooked to perfection & the bacon was a nice thick cut piece. My husband enjoyed his burger and shake too along with perfectly cooked french fries. We enjoyed Floyd's and will stop by again soon!

Floyd's is the best burger in norcal. I also really like the frosties, elk burger, french fries, onion rings and shakes. It is a must stop when in visiting the area. Floyd and Issa provide great service. Thanks for all the double burgers with extra pickles.

I was going to give this place four stars-the restaurant and bathroom were clean, the ambiance was basic, the staff was friendly, and the cheeseburger was one of the better basic cheese burgers I’ve had-then I had a tater-tot and the whole place was bumped to five stars. Good job, Floyd’s Frosty. Good job.

In a small town and a clean but old building. Employee is friendly and courteous. Great burgers including Elk Burger.
